Loaded with food, fuel, and supplies, the unpiloted Northrop Grumman CRS-24 Cygnus XL cargo spacecraft arrived the International Space Station April 13 where it was installed to the nadir port of the Unity module. Dubbed the “S.S. Steven R. Nagel” in honor of the former NASA astronaut who flew four space shuttle missions and logged more than 720 hours in space, Cygnus launched from the Space Launch Complex 40 in Florida on April 10 atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and will remain at the space station for approximately six months.
